Question: Hi - We are a Southern based Boat Transport organisation using new L/Rover Defender vehicles which can legally tow up to 3500kg inc trailer .
Can u pls advise Make and Model of craft, total weight inc trailer ,and when trailer was last professionally serviced.

Response: Boat is an Aquastar 25 - quite old so probably not in your list. It is wooden and very strong - built in 1961. Boat weighs 2.5 tons, trailer 1 tin. Current owner has used to move short distance between winter storage and dock.
Trailer has new tyres and brakes work but I would probably commission a local trailer firm to check it out first, boat is lifted in from trailer so NOT launched from trailer .
