Question: A1 towing you are clearly cutting corners look at your bid as well it’s way below £1 per mile for transporting how to do you make money of that full tank of fuel plus 2 nights staying out as your based Wolverhampton area so by law sitting at 60mph this would take you over driving hours. So on that note someone clearly is not using taco which is required by law for hire and reward jobs which this is if we were to transport we would be quoting a lot more as this is a 2 day trip due to the taco hours and speed limits which you clearly ain’t sticking to! We have quoted the correct amount for a driven service and can provide all insurance documents including ones for our transporter to show we do not cut corners. We are a limited company and it’s run correct by law unlike some!
Jobs requires
Miles 524 over a full tank of fuel be around 1 and 1/2 tank of fuel due to burning more diesel when towing because of weight £150 transported and around £100 driven
Website fee is 20% of price of job
8.5 hours to drive doing job that’s at 70mph at 60mp we are talking around 12 hours which takes you over the taco rules and would take you 2 over nights as time you drive from home in the morning when transporting but when driving 1 night out is only required
Then your hourly rate for doing the job again transporting should be around £25 per hour while driving is £15-£20 so we have quoted correct for a driven service you on the other hand are a massive RED FLAG as you are not a multi vehicle transporter to pull over 1 or 2 vehicles so how the hell can you do it by law at that rate the only transported job I see quoted and clearly running there business properly is Lee at £811 so if the customer would like transported I would stick with this guy your car won’t be delayed due to driver been pulled and not allowed to move further for breaking the law or if in a crash your car will be covered by insurance as he running by taco and clearly foot hire and reward cover unlike some anyways see around a1 towing have a good weekend buddy try and relax instead of trying to put other company’s down as you can see we can all do that enjoy! - uk.logistics.cam (21-09-2024)
