Even a 'sorry I cant do the job' would have been better than nothing. I even got Quote Compare on the case. Luckily my seller was understanding when I had to rearrange. Shame. Response:You knew I had had an accident where by a lorry rear ended me which hospitalized me. I was not let out until the following day, I was unable to drive or do any work due to c4 & c5 vertebrae fracture, not just your job. Which you was aware of. I'm sorry I was in a hospital bed & could not do your job but it was out of my control. I understand you had a deadline but my health & safety has to come before any work as I cannot do it while injured. I am a 1 man & van not a company with drivers at my disposal. Delivery compare arranged a new crew for you. But still you feel like I hurt myself on purpose or told the lorry to hit me. Disappointed with your lack of sympathy. | |
| FABULOUS INDONISIAN STEP CUPBOARD | anthony-1996 | Item, wooden cupboard, delivered later than stated and was scratched in transit. Response:Very unreasonable customer, This item came from out of London & the M1 motorway got closed. Not sure what I was supposed to do get around it, maybe fly or something? Kept this person posted all the time so he knew what was going on. Also item was blanket wrapped before being loaded into van by myself & collection party. Whom clarified this. Also my van is fully carpeted so impossible to scratch. The reason why this item was scratched is because the customer refused to pay for a second professional mover. He wanted to do it on the cheap thinking he could lift it himself, so when moving it out of van he dropped it as wasn't strong or able enough to lift it from he's side. This was verified on camera from the concierge CCTV & photos I had taken of the item before loading, as this covers any disputes or claims. We have goods in transit insurance so item was covered if I damaged it but as I did not, he obviously opted out of a claim, which I was happy for him to make even offering him the relevant forms, to which he refused. But still has the nerve to say I scratched this item. Would never work again for this sort of customer. | |
