I have just recently joined delivery quote compare but i have been working as a van and man for 2years
I work on my own so i can give cheap quotes but, i may need help on both ends.please contact me before accepting my quote if 2 man delivery/collection are needed.

He was prompt very friendly, and with a long wheel base transit he can pretty much fit anything in.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS ONE! Response:Thank you for your review sir however please note you have booked me for home swap it was agreed once we drop your load off to runcorn from Dartford and than another load from runcorn to Dartford for your home swap but you did not inform that the other load from runcorn to Dartford is cancelled because they have arranged there own van. For both load we agreed on £550 as discount for the back load and than you demanded that you will only pay £275 for just one load we factored our cost based on two loads and for one load cost will be higher. I offered you a very good price on both load but one load is £350. You said just load and than we will see. I took that as a threat because its possible you may not pay us so I had to ask you to pay in advance which something I usually don't do as it states on my profile payment on delivery. However in your case I will need to pay labourer and fuel which something I cannot risk. You than said you cannot pay until deliver so with regret I had to cancel your job. Please acknowledge that I have lost fuel and labour cost to Dartford and I could not have bare the cost anymore. Please read through my other feedback were I have delivered for free when I was to blame but not in this case. I'm sorry you were not happy but I couldn't have done more. | |
| Collect and deliver kitchen units and island, including 2 sinks | chazbaglan86 | Drivers were very hardworking but didn't turn up when they said they would (were 2 hours late) and also arrived with two men instead of the three that were promised. The late arrival meant the people I'd arranged to help them load the heavy items had a wasted trip, and had to leave after waiting around. I had informed the driver of heavy worktops (quartz) but he denied knowledge of this.
Communication was poor in terms of not having updates from the drivers as to collection / delivery times. I had to call them for updates on numerous occassions. The new delivery time I was given (after the late arrival) was not stuck to, drivers said they would be with me between 4 and 5pm, but it was 7pm before they turned up. Made me question whether they'd gone and done another job in between without being honest about it, as it doesn't take 6 hours to drive from London to Cardiff.
No blankets were used in transit, just basic straps. The items arrived without being broken - but i think this is more to do with the fact that they were sturdy units / worktops than anything else. I certainly didn't feel like my items were cared for when I looked at how they'd been thrown in the van.
Based on the above, I wouldn't recommend this company.
Response:Dear customers, thank you for feedback, sorry it did not go as planned for you. Please note day before the pick up at 10pm you have contacted me to say they can not take the work top apart in three pieces as you have told me before accepting my bid that they will dismantle it in three pieces, so I will require a larger van preferably a Luton van and 3 man for collection, I did not increase the bid or refused to do the job. I was working very hard to secure a Luton van for you, and that has delay me in the morning, I have kept you informed, that I will be late and also I couldn't find third person at a short notice. You have not informed me that the work top is sturdy work top, although you have uploaded a picture but you should of informed me that we will need four man just to lift the work top. We worked extremely hard to lift you work top on to the van and all the other units. The whole van was full of your kitchen units so it will be impossible to do another job. It is very inconsiderate for you to suggest that we were doing another job in between when we have phoned you atlest four times to let you know that we have been delayed by loading and traffic on M4 , we have took care of your items by straping them and we also made sure the straps will not scratch your items so we have put card board and blankets in between the straps, you had atlest 100 items altogether so we could not cover everything. we have worked very hard and not charged you anything extra for misinformation and our extra efforts, I am still happy to work for you so please contact me in the future if you require my service.
