I was told that I had to accept quickly because the driver wanted to collect the following day; they kept pestering me, as it was the cheapest quote I accepted. I had asked what the size of the van would be and I was informed a 2 meter tall van.
A few days later on the morning of the delivery I received an email saying that there were more items than on the listing and that they wanted more money, I explained that there weren’t more things and that they should have notified or complained on the day of the collection and not a few days later when they were going to make the delivery and try to hold me to ransom!
The driver turned up before the delivery time and as a consequence I wasn’t home, he phoned me when he had got to my house not before! I couldn’t understand what he was saying because he didn’t speak either English or Spanish, he kept saying Deutsch! I am English and living in Spain so I speak English and Spanish.
The van was 3 meters tall and couldn’t fit into our communal garage, the driver wasn’t prepared to wait for me to get home so my wife had to help the driver unload and carry each individual heavy item from the entrance of the garage 40 meters to my garage it took nearly an hour. They hadn’t brought additional manpower or any trolleys, pallet truck or anything that would have helped in the delivery process.
When I explained this to Kate, rather than understanding that usually a customer is only interested in having their items collected and delivered, she started throwing it all back to me, saying that I should have asked for a pallet truck, I should have told them that the maximum height was less than 2.5 meters tall etc. So it was all my fault!
If you just want a cheap job with lots of hassle, communication problems etc. go ahead and book these guys!

Response:Hm. First, he had asked me what size this car is after the collection. It is so interesting. He has never mentioned he would need to lower car. He never mentioned that the garage 3 metres tall. I did not ask more money. The driver was complaining about the extra weight. But I talked it with him. He was late because he was stopped and punished by the policemen. Because of the extra weight. Second, I wrote him the driver will be at the delivery place about 8am. He was there at 9am. Additionally, he never mentioned that there would not be help on the unloading place. There was on the loading place. He already knew that the driver is alone. Why did not you say that it would be necessary an other man? I do not understand the problem. We have tranported his items. Unloading and Loading was not included in the price. If he said in advance he needed help, then I recommend a higher price. It was his choice. And I don't understand why he didn't phone me if he had a problem with the driver. | |

On the 11th hour I receive an email staging that they can no longer make the delivery as another company had let them down,what a pathetic excuse.Once they accepted my bid,they took on a contract to deliver my goods at a time promised,instead i get a useless excuse. Please do not use these guys,they promise the earth to get your business and give you nothing.I now have to wait 12 days to receive my money back from the retail outlet.Delivery Quote issued my deposit refund immediately so I thank them for that. | |
