We are a small family business with bases near Bath and Poole which specializes in the transport of Boats, Caravans and Horses throughout the UK and Europe (horses only the south of England). The business is run by William assisted by Margaret and Alex..
William has been involved in the haulage industry for over 30 years and holds both National and International transport management qualifications along with an LGV (Class1) licence. He holds various RYA qualifications for both sail and power, and is proud to be a Past Commodore of the oldest sailing club in Poole Harbour.
We have a variety of trailers which include fully adjustable boat trailers to accommodate all keel configurations, including planing, bilge, long and deep keels. Flat bed and beaver tail trailers to transport unroadworthy boat trailers and caravans up to 7 metres. For horses we have a Canadian style 5th wheel trailer that has the herringbone style loading of a lorry, but the low ramp advantages of a trailer, with the horses been constantly monitored by cctv from the cab.
Our 4x4s have all been modified for towing with air assisted rear suspension, air and electric trailer braking systems, 5th wheel couplings and tachograghs to comply with EU transport regulations. So whether we are towing your trailer or ours, they are more than capable.
Where appropriate we are able to launch and recover power boats from a slipway. We are fully insured and all quotes are VAT inclusive, but do not include slipway or lifting fees.
