LABOUR: In ALL cases the customer will have been quoted for an appropriate vehicle to transport their listed goods and a driver ONLY, any extra manpower required for carrying items above 25kg will be the responsibility of the customer.
RISK MANAGEMENT: In ALL cases the customer will have been quoted for transport of their listed goods from a ground floor location to a ground floor location. (Increased Insurance charges would need to be applied where stairways are involved
ACCESS: Our drivers reserve the right to refuse collection or delivery of any item where the vehicle access has been deemed poor, inadequate, in breach of Highway Law or HSE Policies.
BALANCE PAYMENT: Payment will automatically be set as COD (cash on delivery). However if preferred you may Pre-Pay by PAYPAL/BANK TRANSFER before delivery, a 5% admin charge would be added to this service. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES
ADDITIONAL ITEMS: Any items not listed in the job description will be charged at £5.25p per square foot, (this is a mandatory goods insurance requirement and is non negotiable)
TIME FRAMES: All domestic deliveries will be issued a 3 hour time frame for guidance purposes only and can NOT be guaranteed. In case of breakdown of our vehicles, traffic or atmospheric conditions, we are not responsible for delay
GOODS INSURANCE: free of charge on all items up to the value of £99. (Basic cover excludes "BREAKABLES" Glass, Pottery, Slate, etc), Insurance will be void if items are not packaged or are deemed inadequately packaged. Additional Insurance cover can be purchased separately if required for high value and/or un-packaged items and/or "breakables", (ANY CLAIMS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 24 hrs OF JOB COMPLETION)
All jobs undertaken by ourselves through "DELIVERYQUOTECOMPARE" shall be subject to our own "TERMS OF BUSINESS POLICY", copies of this can be produced on request.

On Tuesday I was told it would be picked up on Wednesday and delivered on Thursday. I then not heard from them again.
The ebay seller then kindly contacted me to tell me that they would not pick out up till Thursday.
Still heard nothing from the deliver firm and tried to contact the company about 20 times before the weekend on 3 different phone numbers, left voice messages, via e-mail and text messages. No response whatsoever.
Seller confirmed to me it had been picked up. Nothing from the Delivery firm.
So basically they were supposed to deliver on Thursday morning and just didn't. It was the e-bay seller that notified me that they wouldn't.
I heard nothing from them, not to tell me that they would not deliver on the said time or when they would.
Monday night, after I still had not heard anything, almost a week after they told me when they would deliver, I sent them an e-mail to say I would be contacting the police the next day and miraculously they contacted my delivery address (a friend of mine) on Tuesday morning (still no contact with me, the client). They would deliver on Thursday morning.
I finally got hold of them after trying about 30 times. We discussed level of service and it was agreed that the service was not great but then there were excuses why they had not been in contact, none of them their fault.
We discussed changing the price and the person would get back to me as had to discuss it with the manager. Thursday morning, 5 minutes notice (instead of the promised 1 hour), they delivered the mattress......folded in half and strapped together.........an orthopaedic mattress with the recommended RRP of £1500
Another phone call later, as they never got back to me of course, and we agreed I did not own them anything.
How do I check if the mattress is damaged...well, I can't of course.
I had people on standby on pick up and delivery address on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday and Thursday again. I tried to contact them 30 times, was in contact with the seller about the same amount of time with e-mails, contacted Deliver Quote Compare several times as well.
The amount of money and time wasted to be left with is probably a bust mattress is incredulous!!!
Needless to say the level of service, equipment and staff used were utterly abysmal. I refuse to believe that this is the first time this has happened with this firm, I suspect other people have just decided not to leave any feedback, surely this as cannot be a one-off?!
