| Gazco bottled gas living flame gas fire | adamstearns | This is a small removals/ man-with-a-van company, not a courier. They picked up and delivered very quickly (delivering on Saturday). However, both pick-up and delivery ended up being very late at night (after 11pm- not an exaggeration!). The plus side was that the delivery men were polite and helpful, that I was at least able to get an update by text message from the manager. At the end of the day however they were very cheap in comparison to others and I got the goods on the day I arranged. | |

The courier was given this job after I submitted a time conditional quote request. I had several offers but chose them as the item possibly needed 2 guys to lift, which is a selling point included in their service. The courier despite being called on the morning of the job and intervals between then said he could not complete the job on that day. As the collection point was only available for the next 24hrs (house move). The courier after agreeing to did not communicate with the collection contact and did not complete the job. They did not inform or update me of the situation, I had to learn this from the collection contact and then they did not answer any subsequent calls to their mobile or landline number. I had to arrange an alternative pick up asap and ended up costing more. | |
