| Hang Glider | Hang Glider was destroyed in transport process which concluded with an hideous insurance claim. EB Cargo did not protect the package at all. What a dreadful attitude and outcome. If EB Cargo still exist, then consider very carefully before using! Im writing this review some years after the event but this did leave a very bad impression regarding contract cargo. :( | ||

After having entered my details and the receivers details into this site for a quote.i accepted a bid from EB cargo, paid a deposit, to obtain the couriers details....which was just a mobile number that's often not answered and never returned my calls. I then had to give my details 2 or 3 times more over the course of two weeks....finally followed by the details of where the item was to be sent...weeks after my initial deposit. The collection was delayed twice and when it finally happened without my knowledge I wasn't there to over see it and was told EB should have sent me printable delivery notes....which they hadn't. There was no receipt for collection but the driver managed to arrange some kind of paperwork for it. The person it was being sent to became anxious and started a complaint against me and temporarily got my account frozen. All of which happened while I was away with work and had minimal signal. An expensive lesson that won't be repeated, thuck you very much Response:YOU delayed collection as you did not reply to my emails asking you to confirm a collection day. When you finally dis collection was planned on the day you requested, the driver could not find you and both our office and the driver called your mobile number several times and had no answer. I personally emailed you and advised you of this and told you collection had been re-scheduled for the following Monday. YOU ARE TALKING COMPLETE RUBBISH! No drivers notes were required as this was NOT a courier shipment. Any problems you incurred were caused by your own incompetence!! | |
