| 1 x Car / SUV: Honda Civic | d_haswell | AVOID - Damaged my newly powder coated alloy wheels. Very disappointed as he said he would inspect the damage and get back to me but he's now disappeared and stopped replying to my messages. Response:FACTS OF THE MATTER. I picked and delivered the car on the 19th October. I was informed by text message later that day saying the left front wheel had been marked by the straps. I informed the customer that I could not see how but I would have a look the following day. The customer watched me strap the car down and it was strapped through the open spoke of the wheel with a soft strap and he was satisfied with that. Due to pressure of work it was the 22nd October before I had a chance to look at the wheel. On looking at the wheel it was apparent that the damage had bot been caused by a strap as the damage to the wheel was on the edge of the rim and the strap would not have touched that part of the wheel due to the angle of the strap. It was the evening of the 28th before I got chance to contact the customer by Email and I advised him of the facts as I saw them that the damage of the wheel was not down to me. The last contact with the customer was on the 30th when he informed me by text message that he would be leaving negative feedback and taking me to court! | |
