I've been a Senior Manager in operation and logistics all my life. I commuted weekly to Dublin from the UK. [Pitney Bowes] to manage my team but I was made redundant in February just before the COVID epidemic hit us all.
Instead of doing nothing, I set myself up as a self-employed driver in my own van. I worked for Amazon for a few weeks but felt the management was weak and obnoxious and not the kind of environment I thought was healthy. I then worked for DPD for most of the summer as an independent courier. They were short-staffed and ill-prepared for the uplift in online deliveries.
Their recent recruitment drive has limited my opportunity with DPD so I have branched out now, fully, as an independent operator now.
I'm honest, reliable and I understand the need to deliver in full and on time. I'll accept most jobs, even at short notice. I'll even drive through the night getting your goods somewhere else at the start of someone else's day!
If you want a quality, honest, and reliable courier. I'm the one to choose.
