Delivery originally scheduled for Tue 29th. Got a message on Monday eve to say weather was looking too bad and promising delivery by noon on Wednesday. This was fair enough but at 1030 on Wed driver hadn't arrived to pick the car up (it was a 2.5 hour delivery distance). When I chased I was told that their driver was 2 hours away from pick up. 1.5 hours later they called to say driver hadn't turned up at their site (2 hours away from pickup location) and delivery would have to be on Thursday.
On Thursday I got a call at 9am to say car had been picked up and another message to say they were 20mins away so that bit was actually good.
On handover the driver demanded cash even though they had said payment by bank transfer would be acceptable which meant I had to go to a cash machine to get the cash to pay them. Response:Phil Thanks for your feedback sorry you had go Atm machine to get the cash, you could have called me and you could done transfer instead. Phil at last you got the car thats the main thing. On Monday the driver went to pick Jaguar for other customer it snowed too bad that they couldnt do more then 30 mph on motorway it took 4 hrs from Blackburn to Birmingham . The buyer said the car runs fine when the driver drove it the missing and juddering so i rang the buyer said the car is not safe to drive so the car was returned to seller and 2 drivers came back without doing the job , we charged the buyer came back not earn anything. | |
