We are a family based business that has proven to work well and have an established customer base. We can be trusted to complete shipments in a professional and caring manner. We look after the goods whilst we have them. We have plenty of blankets, straps, bungees etc and experience. We can always be contacted by email or phone and give regular updates. All we ask in return is that you give us all the correct information and we will do the rest **If there isn't any help at either end of the shipment then you need to contact us to make arrangements as the quoted price is for 1 person delivering and not 2.** Thanks for reading. I send a message with my bid bringing attention to the dates. You accepted these dates, then wanted same day delivery, which I could not do. You then cancelled, asking for the deposit back. I tried to help and suggest other courier sites and help you anyway I could. Wednesday morning, you called me asking what the delivery time would be that day. As I was already near London, I could not collect or deliver that day. You did not recall the cancellation. I called you and offered to collect Thursday and deliver Friday. You had already sorted out delivery with someone else. Please, anyone reading this, pay attention to the bid dates specified. Information and good communication is a must in this job! Kev. | |

Don't waste your time with this one. Response:How rude. First this customer orders me to pay, out of my own pocket, the cost of the items, £215. Also neglects to tell me there are more than the listed items to collect. Then decides to tell me the listed 'flexible' collection and delivery time has to be on a specific day. Two weeks after the booking. Then complains to Deliveryquote that at 9pm on a Sunday evening I cannot be contacted. I must apologize for having a life. Also, during our email correspondence, the customer, also suggests that if a bank transfer is made for me to give the money at collection, that I may not deliver and keep the money instead, tantamount to calling me a thief and calling into question our honesty and integrity as a small business. Then went on to re-list the shipment whilst we were corresponding, so my last email was, as you have re-listed the shipment it appears you no longer wish me to continue with it. At this point it is clear I decided to no longer continue. Anyone reading this, please see my other feedback for the 311 bookings. Thank you. Kev. | |

Very keen price which I accepted, then spent some time trying to pin company down for a pick-up time. eventually called only to have the phone put down on me. Tried again by email and then received a response saying sorry but the business was having a bad time and that they were turning down the job.
deliveryQuoteCompare.com returned the deposit very quickly though Response:As a family based business, personal issues can affect us. Where as we do try our best, unfortunately life sometimes gets the better of all of us. On this occasion this one customer was affected. For that, i personally am very sorry. As a young business we have yet to master the leave it at home part. We are only human and as you can see from the rest of the feedback, we do a good job. We do not put the phone down on people. Communication was very poor; he did not contact me when promised and when I spoke to him to try and arrange alternative dates he was very rude and unreasonable, hung up the phone and then would not answer any more calls. Avoid if you want hassle-free service. Response:Hi Tina. Sorry you feel that way. After booking at 10pm on Saturday night, you didn't follow up with any information regarding collection. The bid was placed and it was mentioned we could collect and deliver within the time you requested, however, we can't collect an item based on a post code only. We did try and contact you to ask you for the information, our driver still could have collected. Unfortunately our driver had already passed the post code by the time we got hold of you and was unable to collect. You didn't seem to understand that meant we could no longer deliver within your time period on your listing. We cannot always deliver within the timeframe requested, however hard we try. As for communication, I cannot speak for mobile networks but sometimes we get cut off. I remember you not believing i called you until i read out to you the time i called. Never mind. He should have explained in his quote that he will do the job as and when he wants to. He emailed me to say that as he cannot give me a date he'll just call the job off!
Has now cost me a lot of money as I had already given my buyer the amount he quoted me for delivery. Response:Hi Lyn, sorry you feel that way. It clearly states on your listing that you were flexible for collection and delivery. Anyone in this business understands that we cannot always accommodate the customers time frame. We do our best to work with the customer but sadly it doesn't always work. My advice to you was to check the availability of collection and delivery to see if we could have met it *before* accepting the bid. In our experience it is better for the customer, if they are unhappy, that the job is cancelled, so they can find someone who can accommodate their time frame. Thanks. Kev. | |
