Before you accept a quote please note that we are a one driver and a van, driver is happy to assist with all deliveries but note that help will be needed at both collection and delivery for larger, heavy items.

They claim to collect within 10 days and deliver within another 10 days - which is quite a long time as it is, if you ask me. With 16 days from acceptance of bid to my birthday when I needed the table for a birthday dinner, I asked if it was possible within the time frame or I might have to find another courier. Then I asked again, and again. In short, in two weeks I had two brief emails from them saying they were sorting out their schedules and nothing else. My calls weren't returned neither were my 10+, increasingly irate emails. Had to hire a table in the end and eat my 30th birthday meal off a trestle table. Still have not heard from them and what makes it worse is I relisted it and they bid on it again but didn't reply when I pointed this out! Currently in the process of reclaiming my deposit through the website. The most unprofessional couriers I have ever dealt with. I accepted their bid and then heard nothing! I was later contacted via text by someone called 'Kim' asking me to text or email Hampsons with the details. This I duly did and still heard nothing. I then phoned them only to be greeted with the an answerphone.
I then got an email saying that there had been a 'glitch in the system' and that they would get back to me soon. They didn't.
I then sent them an email along with my phone number almost pleading for an update. You guessed it - absolutely nothing at all.
Steer well clear of this lot!!!!!! Response:thats rubbish,you where told from the start it would be collected within 10 days, and delivered within 10 days, you where emailing and calling me at least twice a day, for a "update, you where told that we would contact the collection direct to arrange and once collected we would contact you regarding delivery, you honestly cant expect us to do a dedicated run for your item when its being done for virtually nothing, if you wanted next day delivery then we would have been happy to do so at the relevant cost but you dont want to pay that, do you realise that a large company such as tnt will charge around £150 to collect this for you and we said we could do within 10 days for £40 you are extremely impatient and unreasonable, id say that you have managed to conduct your life without this model motorbike so far so i dont understand the sudden urgency of why you suddenly need it, we aim to provide a service that is affordable and where we have no breakages, we aim to do this within 10 days,you where told all this at the start. negative feedback will ultimately affect our account,so thanks for that | |

I had to pay above the odds at very short notice for another courier to transport the goods on the dates stipulated.
Deliveryquotecompare.com were very helpful and refunded my deposit. The company finally e-mailed me 7 days later. | Jaguar XJ40 s sport leather seats breaking XJ40s car for spares also fit da | carlina | Not Very Happy with this Courier, I purchesed a set of really nice rare Jag XJ40s in doeskin cream leather with red stiching but, when the courier finally picked the seats up from the sellers house over a week after,an then another week later dropping them of at my Address baddly scrached & marked, these seats are quite rare & hard to get hold of in good condition, now the seats are ruined & unfit to fit,into the show van,Due to this courier not taking care or the buyers goods, When contacted this courier he just point blank lied saying the seat where covered but, when the driver opened the doors they was no cover on the seats + they were stacked on top of each other, I only emailed him to let him know what had happened, I didn't what anything else, All I got in reply was I cant do anything about it, but then say it didn't happen in his hands, what he didn't know is that I saw the seats before buying, The courier may of taken care of other things he couriered about before but he has not taken care of these seats Response:this is total rubbish, firstly nothing was said when we delivered and if you went to view then why did you not bring them with you then, as it was only 2 car seats, the van was empty on collection and empty on delivery, so they where never mistreated by us at all | |

They were very hard to contact and answered non of my phone calls only answering a email after 5 days , and then being very slow to respond and refusing to ring me. When I finally labourisely gave them all the collection details via email answered one a day, they informed me they needed help both ends as they only provided a driver. Useless to me as I purchasing a wardrobe from an elderly lady 3 hour drive away from me.
So I lost my deposit and had to start again with a different company, they have not been in touch since.
The other company did it cheaper and provided two drivers.
Response:why not say this at the start, you did it on purpose to get a cheap quote then when accepted moved the goal posts, as far as hard contact that is rubbish, you said that you found it difficult to use email, what an earth are you on the internet for then? | |
