Sid was very accommodating in offering me collection/delivery dates/times of sofas that fitted in with both the Sellers and my schedule. There was a delay due to circumstances way beyond Sid's control but he regularly updated both myself and the Seller of the situation. Which was reassuring for both sides.
Both Sid and his colleague were friendly, polite and very professional.
It's rare to meet people who genuinely care about their customers and have a positive approach to overcoming dilemmas.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to my family and friends, and will definitely be using them again if the need arises.

After giving him the goods to transport on what could have been a 7 hour job - we were told he ran out of petrol, had no money (even though I just paid in full) and had to do another job for petrol money, went to Scotland, broke down. The only excuse we didn't get was that his dog ate it. He was supposed to deliver to two locations, didn't manage it for a whole first day, then wasn't picking up the phone for half of the second day and eventually our team took both deliveries from him in the first location, causing lots of inconvenience for people who had to wait for him the whole day and keeping staff in the shop until midnight. This was the worst experience I've had with transporting goods in my years of being a project manager. Run a logistics company? I wouldn't trust this guy to run a bath. | 2 x cabinets plus 8 boxes | alanbrooker | Delivery arrived 2 to 3 hours late and the condition of my Art Deco Cocktail cabinet .left a great deal to be concerned about. It had not been covered at all and as a result suffered several extreme and a few minor scuffs and scratches that I have been unable to remove or polish out. It has spoiled a beautiful piece of furniture that had survived 90+ years without a mark. As a result I would not use this provider again but would use the Delivery Quote Service again as I found them very helpful, friendly and professional when I contacted them. Response:On this occasion we have let ourselves down and the whole site, and for this we would like to issue an apology and assure everyone that we have learned valuable lessons from this experience and will be making sure we take the feedback on board going forward so as to make sure incidents like this do not re-occur. | |
