Pick up timber and deliver | robert1au | total waste of time i had to wait more than a day after leaving messages with no response then when finally got call they were surprised i had my delivery order done so i have wasted £13 on your site. Not happy
Aga cooker | opal.costs | Absolutely horrendous experience. I completed all details as requested. Paid my deposit, moon express turned up to collect my item, were extremely rude then demanded a further £150 on top of quote. I’m still awaiting my refund and will be reporting them to trading standards Response:It was you who was rude and blaming and threatening, next time chat with the couriers before you accept any quotes, and provide all the details to void failure in collection having just the subject and find out that the weight is 1 tone.
Wardrobe, draws, guinea pig cage, dishwasher | paddyswaggytail | I went with this company thinking they were called Arrows, which from doing a web search seemed to be a legitimate company able to provide a good service. However, when we paid we discovered we'd actually hired Moon Express, the only evidence of which when doing an online search was the email address we already had. When I queried this with the site I was told Arrows is the user name, personally I don't believe companies should be able to use names that aren't them, especially if there are companies out there with that name, its misleading. I will be fair that they were prompt in their responses and also allowed us to amend the booking, however this is about as good as the customer service got. And despite replying promptly I feel many of the messages were bordering on rude; they also wanted to charge extra for bringing an item downstairs and leaving it upstairs, despite being clear from the start it was a wardrobe (where do you think it is in the house?). When it came to collection they dropped one item (thankfully it was undamaged) and hit another against the van. We tried to provide covers but were told they didn't need them. The following day they were late, with no communication about when they would bother to turn up. We were also promised a receipt from the driver as of course they wanted paying in cash, but the drivers said they knew nothing about that. One of the items turned up with deep scratches, we complained straight away and was told to phone the office. The guy said he'd email me so I could send photos, he didn't. I ended up texting them to him - the driver agreed that it was damaged but the office were trying to argue with me. We weren't about to pay the full amount, but we couldn't get an answer from the office, it took over an hour, by which point the drivers were shouting at us because they wanted to leave. Eventually we were offered £20 compensation. I should have gone with my gut and found someone else, I recommend you go elsewhere too.
