He wouldn't answer the phone when I called, then when the phone did answer I thought I had been hung up on as I could clearly hear background noise before it went dead, I think it was an answer phone with no greeting. No point in trying to ring anyway as you wouldn't get a reply even if you did leave a message, as I did. Minimal communication with badly written texts.Tried for days to get him to make contact with the seller, he told me he had, he definitely had not, Had to give sellers phone number numerous times.Collection swift then the van broke down on the way to delivery address (or did it?) I pleaded for communication, hours later told would be tomorrow. I was concerned for safety of goods as I hadn't researched properly and he had NO insurance cover. Tomorrow came, NO communication, I sent texts asking for updates. Hours later, received a text saying '5/7' ? Then another one asking for help at delivery address, even though I'd been quoted for 2 men. Andrew had been out playing football that morning, he told me, while I sat at home worrying myself silly.Goods did finally arrive but by then I was totally frazzled. I am another person that will definitely not use him again. | |
Single Free Standing Pine Wardrobe | muswellhillwardrobe | Avoid avoid avoid. Wouldn't answer the phone when I called. There was no direct contact with a real person - ever. They wouldn't talk into the phone when I rang but just answered then put it down (could hear background noise). They seemed retarded and would only respond with badly written text messages, one which included 'Yo!' to sign off. At the arranged time they didn't turn up at the seller's house, and he waited in all afternoon. Later they blamed him, saying he didn't respond to a text they had sent, but the text was worded as an instruction about what time they would show. In the end the owner delivered my wardrobe myself. | |

In the space of nearly 3 WEEKS there were 2 cancellations, no communication and no decency to re arrange amicably, leaving myself and the seller hugely annoyed. Trying to coordinate this man has been apauling, rarely answering his phone to talk, saying he'll call back and never does or saying that he'll contact the seller and never does. A complete disaster!!!! In the end I had to cancel the pick up and use someone else who did the job swiftly and politely without any hassle. I would not reccommend this man to anyone - steer clear. | |

Flat / House Share Move | dorotakurzawa | This provider offered incredibly good quote for a removal but nothing much else. For 2 weeks I have tried to agree on the removal date and time with hardly any response to my e-mails and texts to finally 10 days before the scheduled time being told that he is not able to commit himself due to a family funeral. This reason was given to another client thus I am not really sure if I should believe it. For future clients - be aware, you will not have an easy task to get hold of the provider and most likely the job will not be finalised. Provider claims to be limited company but there is no sign on Companies House. I am dealing with deliveryquotecompare support team who have refunded my deposit. | |

Wardrobe | lizzielou82 | Unfortunately I cannot recommend this courier, after numerous texts, emails and attempted calls to book our delivery we have had no commitment for a delivery, this is 2 weeks after accepting the quote. We had a promise to collect the week after when accepting the quote and then another promise for last week but still NOTHING. I've today received my deposit back and am desperately attempting to rebook a delivery with someone else before Friday otherwise we lose our sale. I'm very disappointed with our first experience and can only hope this was a one off bad experience. | |
Two chairs | alanblak | courier had to re-schedule the first pickup due to a family issue(which can't be helped),but to then not answer any communications and not even turn up at the agreed re-scheduled time is just very poor.A text takes what,a minute or two?I haven't even had a text or call to explain why,and I wouldn't expect one from someone who submits a quote and then fails to turn up.The chap on the helpline however,could not be faulted,offered his sincerest apologies,and promptly refunded the booking fee. Had to be hassled for weeks before even providing possible removal dates which ruined my plans and timescales. Subsequently I did not go through with using this guy for the removal.
