F+N was founded in Berlin in the 1980s and moved to England a couple of years later. Originally specialising in UK military traffic the company soon expanded into the local moving market as well as private and trade European moves.

It was not long before the deep sea sector was developed and with the addition of self-store facilities, office moving and thriving imports, our business has continued to grow. We are also shareholders in Euromovers and this, with membership of FIDI and HHGFAA, gives us a huge number of agents, colleagues and associates around the world.

The company is also an active member of the British Association of Removers and has supplied volunteers to help run the association for many years

We chose Grantham as the operating centre for our business as it is in the heart of England enabling us to cover the whole country with ease. Access to the east coast ports is also enhanced and fast routes to London mean our rates reflect the savings we make in property costs.

We have acquired Reads Removals and First Access Services of Peterborough so boosting the commercial moving and services capabilities.

The company now finds itself as one of the leading independent movers in the UK and proudly takes its place at the top table amongst the elite of the trade. Representatives from F+N attend all the big moving association conferences around the world enabling us to be truly global in our reach, methods and culture.
