Large heavy buffet / sideboard | j.brimble | I was very disappointed with this company.I have emphasised the importance of pick up and delivery dates and have gone through number of emails to make sure that we understand each other.This company has agreed to everything and offered me a fair price.Sudenly four days before the agreed date I have received a text saying that the item is going to be picked up next morning.This was unacceptable,but I was told that they are in the area only tomorrow and if I am not happy with that then I need to find alternative courier.Frankly,they left me stranded.Very unprofessional behaviour. | |

2 & 3 seater purple sofas for sale. | mistyautumnmoon | Worse company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Believed it would be delivered on a Friday after item was picked up. That changed to a Monday, later that day the van suppossibly broke down finaly receive it following Tuesday, and then the sofas were wet, covered in mud, filthy, smelt of oil,ripped and damaged. Took nuremurous emails and phone calls to even get the sofas. A waste of my time and money and endless stress.Don't be fooled this is not what it appears to be, in fact I think it is one man and a very old tatty and filthy van. No professionalism or customer care. A nightmare. Response:The customer wanted sofas to be deliver on friday, we couldnt so we offered to cancel. The lady refused to cancel, so we arranged delivery for monday. On the way the van broke down which is not our fault, so we had to wait for resque. We have not received any emails from customer but all phone calls were answered. We can guarantee that we delivered sofas in the same condition as they were collected. 8.5" reclaimed / re-cut floor boards, floorboards (18m thick) | ivan.roche | NOT IMPRESSED, USE AT YOUR PERIL!!
I was having floorboards delivered (freshly planed). When the driver eventually got to my place:
1.) I saw one of the packages of my floorboards sticking out the back of a half shut delivery van (it had been raining a lot and boards were drenched - not a good start!)
2.) When the driver opened the truck there was tonnes of stuff like couches etc on top of the floorboard, boards had dents and scratches (that i saw when I got them inside)
3.) Not sure what was in the back of the deliver van oil or some sort of similar residue but the outside boards (for the 3 packages) were covered in it (6 boards out of 18 completely unusable)
4.) When I said to the driver that I wasn't pleased, his response was that they were blocks of wood. I told him that they were floorboards to be laid and would have expected that better care was taken. He didnt even care, just gave a smart remark!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Note: The only plus side was the lady on the phone who helped organise delivery. Response:Customer added extra long item on to order which we agreed to take after informing length of our van due to extra traffic in London customer was angered by the wait and made his feeling know on arrival I can confirm all items were tightly wrapped and in the same condition as we collected which I can add was a damp workshop in the Wirral | |

dining table | rob-49 | Promised they'd pick it up at a certain time (which was the only time the item could be picked up) then completely changed their mind once i'd accepted the offer. Kept changing the delivery time and gave no indication of when they planned to deliver even though i'd requested a time numerous times so that i could plan in advance. Terrible terrible communication. I'm sure they'll respond to justify their actions, such as traffic etc but take my advice - avoid at all costs!!
