Paul Gillett never intended to make this delivery, spun story after story about the delays and problems that he was having, so in the end I had to sail my yacht to Spain rather than get it delivered by him. If you wish to receive a copy of all the text correspondence I had with Paul Gillett please email me on [email protected]. Then you can decide whether it would be a wise move to employ him to make a delivery for you. I have received some of my money back from him but I have informed him that I will go to the Small Claims Court for the rest and for compensation. I did send a copy of this feedback to Paul Gillett and offered him the opportunity to respond. Like his delivery, he has failed to reply. | |

Bike was meant to be delivered to Spain in mid December it never got there, it did do a nice tour round Spain and Portugal but never arrived at intended destination and then a tour round the UK before finally being delivered back to the pick up spot. Owner uses sub contractors and doesn't have a clue of where they are and what they are doing On the plus side I did get all my money back and compensation due to his failings but doesn't make up for the fact the bike never got to its intended destination!!! But took over a month to get the compensation off of him. I tried to call owner of company on multiple occasions only to find that he blocked my number as he was too scared to talk to me! Soon as I called on another number he answered the phone. I have used transport services to transport my motorbikes to Spain many times and never had any problems but this guy is just useless. Don't make the same mistake as I did, even if another transport company is charging double use them!!! It has taken close to 3 months and over 200 emails to get the situation resolved. We negotiated 50% in advance and 50% upon delivery, which he readily agreed to. His e-mails were always friendly, admitting mistakes, finding plausible excuses and offering discounts, upgrades or compensations that made us agree to wait for a new collection date rather than start all over elsewhere. After 3 months (Aug-Nov 2015) and 10 non-collections we asked for the money back and to our surprise he refunded us instantly, relieved that we did not insist on delivery anymore. We wondered why he would spend so much time to appease and stave off customers if he never intended to do the job nor bunk off with the money. The most important thing for him was to keep his 100 % positive rating. He even offered additional £200 out of his pocket to "compensate for the inconveniences he caused" to keep us from writing a bad review. Of course we knew by then that they'd never arrive on our account. 3 months of endless stress and troubles. It seems he's just working with people's money for some weeks, thus the low prices to get the job and the "I did everything possible to fulfil the order" delaying tactics to have the money and still keep his ranking to get new jobs. | |

Then, after insistent full payment up front, promise, upon promise - ad nauseum - over a period of almost a month; 'all the excuses under the sun' to keep the job 'on the books' until it became unavoidably and undeniably obvious that PG Transport (Paul Gillett) would never start let alone complete the job; so why offer and accept it in the first place? Maybe to have it on the 'back-burner' just in case. Or to deny it to other competing transporters for a while, or both. Whatever the truth of it is, the outrageous experience of perpetual deceit by PG Transport/Paul Gillett was quite sickening. | |

| 1 x Van: Vw T2 van | matthewineson | Booked to have 2 vehicles collected from Athens way back in October with a pick up date at the end of the month, 2 months go by with excuse after excuse I eventually had to cancel, as would any person. I then booked with a different transport company they collected within 2 days and I had the vehicles within 2 weeks.
It then took me over a month to get a full refund, but only after I emailed customer support, stay well away I don't want anyone else to got through the stress and agro that comes along with working with this guy, the only thing he was quick to do was take my money. He demands up front payment (because he gets messed around apparently)
I know he is going to write some garbage underneath about him covering my storage costs, this all lies I have not received anything.
I would never ever use again, what a joke
Response:Thanks for the feedback, I don't intend to write any 'garbage' underneath here. This job was booked with one of our subcontractors and we had been let down by them resulting in these problems. A full refund was made when requested. I was promised that he would collect my item in September and there has been excuse after excuse and still it didn't happen. Response:Steve - thank you for your comments. As stated in all correspondence, the job was refunded to you in full and the offer to transport it back for you completely free of charge has been given however it needed to be flexible and tied in with a run back over. There is a truck in the area this week and I've been advised it is able to collect however we are unable to meet unrealistic deadlines with this service. He then arranged an alternative haulier to collect the vehicles. They were 12 hours late collecting them from ourselves and consequently ended up being a day late delivering them to our customers. I'm currently still awaiting an invoice for the money paid to these people weeks later despite numerous promises of an invoice this has still not happened....... Avoid this company like the plague, I for one certainly will NEVER use them again Response:Matthew - thank you for your comments. This job was still carried out by a very professional company and all 3 vehicles arrived safely at their end destination. Arranging for the alternative transporter cost me a lot more on top of what was paid, as we don't like to let anyone down this is why I arranged it. I've been out of the office myself most days on the road - apologies on the time it took to send an invoice over this was my fault entirely but I have been extremely busy and had little time back at base.
