The communication was terrible to begin with which should have been an indication of the service (or lack of service) I was to receive.
In the correspondence I requested that the bed was to be collected between 8am and 10am. I received a phone call the day before (Thursday 21/1/2016) saying that he was confirming the time of 10am and 12pm. I reiterated that the item needed to be collected as stated between 8am and 10am to which he agreed.
I asked the lady who the driver was collecting from to call me when he arrived. She rang just before 12 to say that no collection had been made so I followed up but the phone rang out several times. Eventually I was called back and was told that he had overslept and his mother had failed to wake him.
He assured me that he would collect the item between 5pm and 6pm. 6.15 and the lady from who the collection was being made told me that yet again he had not turned up.
I called but was cut off and received a text message in possibly Polish. Meanwhile I called Addison Lee who for only a slightly higher fee are completing the job within half an hour
The delivery driver called me to say he was on his way and any way I told him between 6pm and 7pm. I have text messages to him confirming the 5pm-6pm window that he must arrive.
I asked him to cancel the job as it was too late, other arrangements had been made. He said it was not his fault and anyway he rang everyone to tell them. Both parties have been severely inconvenienced and unnecessarily stressed out by this whole drama.
How unprofessional.
Needless to say I will not be using Super Removals in the future nor recommending..
I would like my deposit back as well as compensation for the hassle and inconvenience caused.
Please let me know how you intend to resolve this and that my refund will be processed promptly.
