1 x Car / SUV: Fiat Punto | billypenman | I was completely disgusted by the treatment of this transporter. He told me he was putting car on transporter ,in the end he drove the car without window wipers in the middle of night from England to scotland he told me he put a new steering lock on wich he charged me £40.00 he also told me he put a replacement bumper on which over phone call was same colour as car ,the bumper was grey and the car is black the bumper was damaged beyond repair by the way he charged me £70.00 for bumper it is obvious to me this was done so he could drive Carr instead of using transporter .
He told me he may be able to get a replacement bumper but I would have to wait until he happens to get a job in my area I told him I would post bumper to supplier but he does not want me to do this ,it is obvious to me that there was nothing wrong with steering lock , he has put bumper on that he picked up somewhere. I am really disgusted by the way this company used me ps I even took him to bus station because I thought he was nice to deal. With. How wrong can I be. Response:This man was very nice person the steering lock was changed for the cost of the part only no fitting charge. Now we come to the bumper this bumper was sourced from a specialist salvage suppliers who was given the colour code it did look a shade out but not a lot in it again no fitting charge was made. It was agreed for the vehicle to be driven when the owner negotiated a much lower price than the original quote. The wipers were discovered not to be working on the journey to delivery address . The car was an old 57 plate punto and he payed well over the odds for it considering it was from a salvage yard I've seen them for sale on a garage forecourts at a much lower price. This one was scratched and damaged every panel was affected . This man is upset at what he has purchased and I really feel for him. I am the only on he can vent his anger at let's hope he learns his lesson. I think he should do what he's good at and not try to be an Arthur daily of the motoring world I wish him well | |
