LABOUR: In ALL cases the customer will have been quoted for an appropriate vehicle to transport their listed goods and a driver ONLY, any extra manpower required for carrying items above 25kg will be the responsibility of the customer.
RISK MANAGEMENT: In ALL cases the customer will have been quoted for transport of their listed goods from a ground floor location to a ground floor location.
ACCESS: Our drivers reserve the right to refuse collection or delivery of any item where the vehicle access has been deemed poor or inadequate
BALANCE PAYMENT: Will be due via Paypal to secure the booking. Once payment received we will contact you to make the final arrangements.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES
TIME FRAMES: All deliveries will be issued a 3 hour time frame for guidance purposes however these cannot be guaranteed. In case of breakdown of our vehicles, traffic or atmospheric conditions, we are not responsible for delay
GOODS INSURANCE: free of charge on all items up to the value of £10,000. (Basic cover excludes "BREAKABLES" Glass, Pottery, Slate, etc), Insurance will be void if items are not packaged or are deemed inadequately packaged. (ANY CLAIMS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 24 hrs OF JOB COMPLETION)
All jobs undertaken by ourselves through "DELIVERYQUOTECOMPARE" shall be subject to our own "TERMS OF BUSINESS POLICY", copies of this can be produced on request.

They never keep their promises, they never know what you're calling them for, and on their site they falsely advertise a 24/7 365 days/year service but when you ask about it you find out business hours are 9-5 Mon-Fri. It was difficult to contact them and get a reply, and that gave very little notice of picking up and delivering the item( with a text message received an hour before they arrived, at 8pm). They stated they cover the item so it is safe, which they did, but the cover looked like it had been found in a derelict building, a mouldy old curtain. They did deliver within the 7-10 day limit that was specified though Response:Brad, Thank you for your feedback. The collection contact was made aware of the collection days in advance, this was also the second time we had to try to collect as we had not been informed that the seller was on holiday at the time of our first attempt. The "mouldy old curtain" you describe your item to be wrapped in was not our doing, this was how the seller had packaged the item themselves for transit, we use industry standard removal blankets to protect all items whilst in our possession however as I am sure you can appreciate these are removed at delivery as they are not too cheap to purchase. | |

Chose this company because they promised collection and delivery on a specific day, with the following results:- Promised delivery 15:00-17:00hrs Arrived at vendors 1.5hrs late 18:30 advised "traffic issues" (untrue) and would deliver at 22:00hrs 19:00 advised they couldn't deliver, promised delivery following Monday - 4 days later. Not happy, but accepted - as long as they could offload (2 x people needed as large sofa) as i wasn't available. Contacted me by email on the Monday, advising delivery Tuesday 08:00.... They were re-advised that 2 x people would be needed, and re-told about access issues. Arrived Tuesday 11:00 - 1x small lady only delivered it, resulting in chaos. Appalling. Misleading then non-existent communication, no explanation and no apologies, despite me repeatedly advising them on what was needed to deliver. They say they want to be paid by bacs transfer but dont check their bank account so days later they accuse you of not having paid, clearly delaying the whole shipment process. Their communications are awful, they take days to replyto emails, they never send the information they promise within the timescale given. The mobile number quoted just rings and rings its doesn't even have voicemail. I'm still waiting for my shipment although i was told it would be delivered in Bath by 4pm, physically impossible as it was only collected in Birmingham at 2:45. Complete and utter disaster. | |

They were six and half hours late for the collection, with no communication until they were almost two hours past the allocated time slot, then turned up to collect a king-sized mattress and a flat-packed king sized bed, with one young woman driver and no-ne else. The delivery was promised two days later but did not materialise due to a 'broken down van'. We had to chase and chase for the new delivery date, with no communication from them. The mattress and bed were eventually delivered at approximately 22:40 a day later than promised, again by the same young girl. Unprofessional in every way imaginable. Amazing Vintage Retro 1950's 1960s English Electric Fridge Not Working | mrstone2u-1 | AVOID - Very unprofessional service, it took them three weeks to collect and deliver. Waited in for a whole day on the day they said they would deliver and they didn't, no contact until late that evening. When the fridge finally arrived it had been shoved in the back of the van right up to the bulkhead which put deep scratches in the top and side and then had 6 packs of heavy laminate flooring thrown on top of it. These had all moved around onroute as they were not secured. I suspect that they thought that as the fridge was old and not working they didn't need to take any care with it and it's quite obvious they didn't - badly run service by amatures - AVOID AVOID AVOID | |

Damaged the item on collection and initially did not acknowledge it. Had to complain to website customer services in the end. Finally admitted damage but blamed inadequate packaging rather than poor loading.
