Sometimes, those of us who spend a long time behind the wheel have no other option but to grab a bite on the road.
In a recent survey by American insurance website insure.com, 1,500 drivers were asked what their top picks were for when the munchies set in.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the results do not reflect the epitome of good health. This might be a sensible decision on behalf of the drivers, as they look to consume a food which causes the least amount of distraction.
Although not currently illegal in the UK, certain studies suggest that eating behind the wheel can be as dangerous as using a mobile phone. If you do have the urge to snack whilst driving, please ensure you keep your full concentration on the road.
